Get your mobile video on TV and 100 bucks! Jumpcut has partnered with Current TV and we are kicking it off with a new group.

Current TV wants to air your mobile video on television (and pay for it)! Just shoot some footage with your mobile phone and upload to Jumpcut at http://www.jumpcut.com/tv If Current TV’s programming department likes what they see, they’ll put your footage on TV and pay you $100.

So whether you’re heading off to a 4th of July parade, want to sound off about something going on in the news or spot some fantastic street fashion, pick up your phone and start shooting. Current TV, now in 28 million homes on cable and satellite TV, is the only network dedicated to Viewer Created Content. Check out the Current TV Mobile Group http://www.jumpcut.com/tv for more ideas, info, and legalese.

Once you have joined the Current Mobile Group and are ready to send a mobile video to the group on Jumpcut please be sure to set the visibility of the movie to “private” so it can’t be remixed and then check the check box next to the group “Get Your Mobile Video on TV” to send it to the Current TV group.

The Jumpcut Team
